Chase Campus Pastor

One of Ryan's favorite parts of the day is when his kids, Eli and Natalee, knock him down at the door when he gets home and the love of his life, Brittany, gives him a big embrace. At Cove, you'll find Ryan leading our Chase Campus as the "face with the place" as he serves that community. This beach enthusiast loves to help people from all walks of life discover, develop, & demonstrate an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.

Family Ministries Pastor

Darin and Leah have three boys, one dog, fifteen air fresheners, and a high capacity washing machine that live in their house. Darin is the Family Ministries and Children’s Ministry Pastor and loves helping families work at developing the faith of their children.

Director of Ministry Operations

Kathy and her husband, John, have two daughters that are off the payroll. Hallelujah! One is in Birmingham and the other is in Oahu, Hawaii. Kathy and John’s sweet baby girl, Birdie (who, despite her name, is actually a dog), still lives at Tanner Manor. At Kathy’s second home, Cove Church, she is responsible for facilities and finances, weddings and funerals, as they are NOT the same thing! The generic line in her job description, “other duties as assigned”, affects Kathy more than anyone else at Cove Church as she can often be found doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

Director of Student Ministries

I have been dating my college sweetheart for the past 18 years. We love hanging out, and cooking in the kitchen, with our two kids. Obviously I haven’t been in this role very long, but my goal is to disciple students in the ways of knowing God, and how to live that out in their lives.

Sharon is married to a tractor salesman from Snead, AL. They co-parent a blended family that includes two girls, ages two and six. Sharon coordinates an amazing group of servant leaders who develop teams, systems, and environments through which people can take next steps in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Cove Church family.

Director of Worship Arts

Heather and her husband, Robert, are simultaneously loving the teenage years with Ian and Ansley, and can’t wait to have the house to themselves. At Cove, Heather mothers the planning of our Sunday morning services and creation of all the fun stuff (graphics, videos, skits and such) they contain.

Pastor of Discipleship and Care

Stephen and his wife, Jane have three beautiful daughters, two of whom are in college and one still at home. Somehow, they have almost made it through the teenage years, and amazingly, it has been mostly drama-free. At Cove, Stephen is responsible for oversees the C-Group network as well as develops new discipleship experiences and opportunities. Stephen also develops teams to help care for people no matter what they are walking through.

Project Manager

Shannon and her husband, Doug, along with their teenage boys, Drew and Will, could be the feature for a reality show on The History Channel. They love hunting, camping, knife-making, attempting ninja warrior obstacles, and anything on the water! Here at Cove, Shannon takes care of special projects and team building activities.

Worship Leader

AKA Skinny Jean Joe, Master Joda, Mr. Singer

Joe and his bae have been together for about a year now. She is a little on the older side and is slowly dying on him, but she gets him from A to B...his Buick Lesabre. Joe is in charge of leading and creating the worship environment, video/graphics, and social media for student ministry. But his favorite part of his job is just hanging out with students!

Missions Coordinator

Shannon and her husband, Brent, have a daughter who is a freshman in college, and two sons in 6th and 8th grade.  They spend their time transporting the boys to and from sports activities and love a night in playing MarioKart as a family. Shannon is the Missions Coordinator at Cove. She schedules the monthly GO projects, multiple mission trip opportunities each year, and enjoys loving on our mission partners.

Director of Communication Technologies

As Florida natives, Lori and her husband Jason have embraced raising their family ‘up north’ in ‘the south’. Watching one, or all three, of their children kicking, throwing, or shooting a ball of some sort is usually what you can find them doing on any given day. Lori is what Cove likes to call ‘The Tech Chick’, which really just means she likes to geek out on our website or our churches’ online community, better known as The Hub.

Angi and her husband, Eric, hail from the great state of Michigan, land of the Harbaugh nation, the Big House and Big Ten football. They have raised (and almost launched!) two gregarious daughters, one of whom already resides on the Plains and the other soon to follow. Here at Cove, Angi takes care of scheduling amazing vocalists and tech gurus. Additionally, she works with a talented team to keep the Cove congregation up to date on the latest happenings via video announcements.

Connections Assistant / First Impressions Coordinator

Ronda and her husband, Scott, have two girls, each leaving home to start new lives in great locations.  The house is more quiet, but travel plans are in the making.  At Cove, Ronda coordinates the First Impressions team each week and assists Sharon Criswell/ Connections with events and admin.

Connections Assistant

Joanne, her husband, Steve, their five kids, and various pets have lived in Hampton Cove for the past eight years with much laughter, love, and adventure. Joanne assists the Connections Team in helping first time visitors, long-time partners, and everyone in between develop Christ-centered relationships inside and outside the walls of the church.

Kids Cove Admin Assistant/Receptionist

Regena and her husband, Paul, have lived in Huntsville for eleven years. They have two sons, ages 9 & 14. They spend most of their free time attending Eastern League 10U football games and HHS Cross Country Meets. Here at Cove, Regena works behind-the-scenes to ensure Kids Cove is an awesome place to be. She also manages volunteer/staff background checks and serves as receptionist.

David comes from a large, close knit family of Huntsville natives and Auburn graduates, War Eagle! He and his wife Holly have been blessed with two smart, beautiful, and strong willed little girls. David works full time as a software project manager for the Army, and spends his spare time at Cove managing all things technical (lights, sound, video, cameras) for the worship services.

Facilities Manager

Rodger and his wife, Deborah, enjoy traveling whenever possible, and they ensure it is possible frequently! Rodger takes care of the facilities at Cove on both campuses. His skillset allows him to build, install, and repair almost anything, except TV’s.

Kids Cove Small Group Coordinator

Brooke and her husband, Nathan have lived in Huntsville for 13 years and have three girls. At Cove, Brooke helps coordinate volunteers working in Kids Cove as small group leaders leading preschoolers through 5th grade.

Records & Accounts Receivable

Rhonda and her husband of thirty-six years are blissful empty nesters, after managing to raise two sons. They love the freedom to travel light and sub in chips and salsa for dinner when the mood calls for it. Rhonda’s primary staff roles are to account for and distribute incoming funds and make sure various ministry programs and community clubs always have a place to meet.

Kevin and his wife, Gina, have two children, Keira and Connor.  The family spends most of their time poolside, as both children are working toward Olympic gold! Here at Cove Church, Kevin works side by side with our facilities team taking care of all things facilities related.  Whether it is electrical, plumbing, repairing, woodworking or his all-time favorite--climbing up as high as possible on a ladder--he is your guy.

Stacy and her husband, Richard, are two Oregon Ducks that flew south to Alabama with their son; their daughter lives in the Pacific NW with her husband. Here at Cove, Stacy uses her organizational & snack making skills to coordinate events, camps, and whatnot (food & fun) for the middle & high school ministries.

Cynthia and her husband, David, will be celebrating 30 years of marriage in June 2017. They are thrilled that their oldest son Jacob recently expanded the family by marrying Lindsey. Cynthia is currently savoring every moment spent with family before her daughter Elise returns to college and son Dylan heads off for his freshman year at Auburn. At Cove, Cynthia is responsible for the accounting and payroll.
