Author Frank Lauback called prayer “The mightiest force in the world” because it moves the power on which all other powers depend. But can you honestly say that has been your experience? Have you witnessed the power of prayer in your own life. If not, perhaps it is because you are not really praying, or perhaps your approach to prayer needs to change. In this message we’ll discuss an approach to prayer that is more intentional, more specific, more bold and more interactive.

Most of us have a desire to change, but we lack the capacity. We settle for the performance-based "gospel" of sin management. We dig in and try harder. It's a seemingly endless cycle. To break the cycle and experience real and lasting change, we have to move from performance-based to a grace-based understanding of our relationship with God. And we must surrender, allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to empower us to change from the inside out.

It’s so easy to fall back into the routines in our lives and lose site of the grander vision. There is simply no greater treasure than a harvest of souls. Whatever the risk, the cost, the sacrifice…it’s worth it! Keeping the reward in mind is essential in not growing weary.

How do we maintain True North when we get off course? We do this by keeping our eyes on him, rather than circumstances, results, or anything else!
