DESCRIPTION:For many local children\, school meals and The CARE Center’s weekend food support provide a dependable weekly source of food. But when school closes for fall break\, that support looks a little different. \nThis fall\, Cove is helping The CARE Center fill Bags of Blessings with enough food to help students and their families through the week away from school. \nStop by the Worship Center lobby on Sunday\, September 20 from 9am-12pm to pick up a bag and shopping list. Fill your bag with the requested items and return it on Sunday\, September 27 from 9am-12pm in the Worship Center lobby. You may also drop off filled bags Monday-Thursday at the Cove business office. \nIt’s a simple way to help make sure kids in the southeastern Madison County communities have the food they need\, even when school is out.

DESCRIPTION:Share God’s love with His children on this global mission trip. \nJoin a Cove team traveling to Coronado\, Costa Rica\, October 3-10 to serve alongside our long-time mission partner\, The Methodist Children’s Home. \nDuring the week\, our team will help with construction projects that will expand the campus and create space for a new home for children. In the evenings\, we’ll present a Vacation Bible School for the children who live at the home and for kids from the surrounding community. \nEach day will begin and end with team devotionals as we serve together and reflect on the mighty work God is doing. \nTrip Dates: October 3-10 | Trip Cost: $1\,200 plus airfare \nRegistration closes July 31.
