Worshipping God doesn’t always mean that we’re singing praises with raised arms and harmonious voices. The way we live our lives and steward our resources can – and should – be an act of worship as well. When we set aside a specific portion of our income and use it to further God’s kingdom, we are declaring Who and what is most important to us. Without a doubt, the monetary gifts we give go a long way in changing the world around us. But we believe that God also uses our cheerful generosity as a means of drawing us deeper into relationship with Him. As we become more reliant on Him, our trust in His will and His plan grows. Naturally, we desire to express our appreciation for all that God has lavished on us. By surrendering not only our hearts but also our earthly treasure to God’s purpose, we tangibly demonstrate our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude.
