Why does baptism matter?
The sacrament of baptism is an external, physical event that represents an internal, spiritual change. For those who take this step, it is one of the most important spiritual milestones in your life.
Who should be baptized?
We celebrate the baptism of infants, youth and adults. In the case of infants, it is an expression of God’s grace that is at work in the life of every human being, even before we’re aware of it, constantly drawing us into a relationship with God. For older youth and adults, it also celebrates the grace of God, as well as the person’s decision to profess their faith in Jesus. Either way, it is a once-in-a-life event that we spend the rest of our lives living into.
How do I know if I’m ready?
If you have never been baptized, we encourage you to take this step after making a decision to place your faith and trust in Jesus.
