Cove Church Missions follows the Acts 1:8 approach to missions, supporting missions in our local church (Jerusalem), in our community (Judea and Samaria) and to the ends of the earth (international).

Local Mission Partners
The CARE Center
Originally founded by a member of Cove Church, this organization began as a food pantry and clothing closet. It has grown into a thriving non-profit, that is making a noticeable difference in the communities it supports. The CARE Center now partners with over 1000 families providing after-school care, adult education, a thrift store, emergency food or utility bill support and weekend food distribution for children.
New Hope Children’s Clinic
New Hope Children’s Clinic is a non-profit, school-based health clinic created to increase the access to and provide comprehensive medical care for children in Madison County and surrounding communities. The New Hope Children’s Clinic breaks barriers, changes lives and gives hope to children through local, low-cost healthcare.
Lincoln Village Ministries
Lincoln Village Ministries uses education, credit repair, childcare and housing as avenues to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. The mission of Lincoln Village Ministries is to share the gospel and to serve through educating, sheltering, comforting and equipping the Lincoln community for Christ’s glory.
Huntsville Learning Center
The mission of the Huntsville Learning Center is to serve students in the inner-city community in kindergarten – 8th grade and to grow those students into Christ-like, lifelong learners and responsible citizens through after-school programs focusing on Biblical knowledge, mentorship and academic support. They believe every individual is God’s creation and a valuable member of the community. Through mentoring and education, the Huntsville Learning Center helps children to build strong character, recognize their dignity and embrace their leadership in the community.
Kids to Love
Kids to Love is a non profit organization dedicated to meeting the immediate needs of children in foster care. Incorporated in 2004, Kids to Love has made a direct impact on the lives of more than 300,000 children living in foster care. Kids to Love works to make a life long impact on children in foster care by investing in them where they are and helping them reach their full potential.
Cru: Wesley and Monica
Wesley and Monica have been serving with Cru since 2007 on college campuses with the focus of winning students to faith in Christ, helping to build them up in their faith, and sending them out to be faithful laborers for Christ for a lifetime. They have taken students on summer mission in Miami, East Asia, Ecuador and Spain. They both graduated from UAH and returned in 2021 to be the team leaders for Cru at UAH. They have 2 daughters, Lotte and Olivia.

Methodist Children’s Home
Costa Rica – The Methodist Children’s Home houses up to 24 children, cared for by “tias” (aunts) living in the home. The children are given a loving, Christian home, educational opportunities and a chance to change the trajectory of their life
Christian Union Sports Club
Medellin, Columbia – This ministry shares the gospel by using something that is familiar to local children: soccer. As one child put it, they learn some great things about soccer once they learn about “that little book”, first. An alternative to growing up on the streets selling or using drugs, The CUSC shows children that, as a child of Christ, they are worth more.
Grant & Katie
Grant, Katie and their two kids have been in the Middle East since 2016. God has called their family to share the Word and make disciples from some of the most unreached nations in the world. Their ministry is centered around the South Asian (Indian and Pakistani) indentured laborers in their city. Their goal is to train up disciples who make disciples, and to see God’s Word advance not just in their city but in all of the 10-40 region.
Antioch Ministries
Dayna was a Christian missionary captured and rescued from the Taliban in 2001. Members of Cove Church prayed for her release and she visited us in 2003. When she and her husband, Mark, deployed in 2004 to become missionaries, our monthly support began. Communication with them is in code, as the work they do to convert Christians is prohibited.
John Sinet
Mt. Paka, Kenya – Working through the African Gospel church in Kenya, Cove Church pays the salary of a pastor for the church that is now needed for the Pokot people that meet every Sunday on top of Mt Paka. This previously nomadic people group, who had never heard of Jesus and never seen a white person before, are now living in one area that is growing into a small community.
Youth With a Mission
Hawaii – YWAM’s University of the Nations (U of N) operates in 650 locations in 160 countries, providing programs in approximately 100 languages around the world. The U of N is committed to teach and develop men and women spiritually, culturally, intellectually and professionally
Blessing Home
Thailand – Blessing Home works to identify youth that are at risk of becoming vulnerable to being put to work in the “industry” of human selling and instead offer them placement in their school to provide them with educational opportunities and a better future for their families
Vapor Ministries
Vapor’s founder, Micah McElveen, is a friend of Cove Church pastor, John Tanner. He turned a near death experience into a challenge to live every day making a difference in the lives of those living in extreme poverty. Vapor Ministries operates multiple ministry centers in multiple countries, serving hundreds of thousands on a weekly basis and employing hundreds of indigenous people.
Pastor G
Pastor G leads a church planting movement in the Mid-South Region of Asia which has started over 550,000 house churches that have reached more than 9 million new believers over the past eight years. This is taking place in the heart of the 10/40 Window, a rectangular, geographic area, stretching from north Africa through the Middle East to Asia. It includes 68 countries and is home to most of the people groups in the world who have never heard the good news of Jesus.
