Fall Break Bags of Blessings

For many local children, school meals and The CARE Center’s weekend food support provide a dependable weekly source of food. But when school closes for fall break, that support looks a little different.
This fall, Cove is helping The CARE Center fill Bags of Blessings with enough food to help students and their families through the week away from school.
Stop by the Worship Center lobby on Sunday, September 20 from 9am-12pm to pick up a bag and shopping list. Fill your bag with the requested items and return it on Sunday, September 27 from 9am-12pm in the Worship Center lobby. You may also drop off filled bags Monday-Thursday at the Cove business office.
It’s a simple way to help make sure kids in the southeastern Madison County communities have the food they need, even when school is out.
